1. What Data We Collect

1.1 Data You Provide

• •Account data (when you create an account): name, email address, login method.
• •Baby profile data you enter: nickname, birth date, sex (optional), measurements, milestones, schedules.
• •Activity logs: feeding/sleep/diaper entries, notes, timers, reminders.
• •Content you upload: photos or attachments you choose to store in the App.
• •Support communications: messages you send to customer support.

1.2 Data Collected Automatically

• •Device & app information: device model, OS version, app version, language, time zone.
• •Usage data: screens viewed, feature interactions, session duration, approximate region (based on IP).
• •Diagnostics: crash reports, performance logs, error traces.

1.3 Data from OAuth Providers

If you sign in with external OAuth providers (Google, Apple, etc.), we receive your basic profile data: email address, display name, and profile picture. We do NOT receive access to your contacts, email content, stored files, calendar, or other related services.

1.4 Optional Permissions

Some features may request device permissions (such as camera, photos, microphone, or notifications). You can deny or revoke permissions anytime in your device settings. If you do so, some features may not work.

2. Why We Use Your Data (Purposes)

• •Account creation and login — to register you, authenticate you via AWS Cognito, and keep your session secure.
• •Providing core baby-tracking services — to save your baby profiles and activity logs, show timelines, charts, and summaries.
• •Personalizing your experience — to tailor reminders and content to your baby's age and your settings (for example, weekly development hints).
• •Sync and backup — to safely store your data so you can restore it when you change devices or reinstall the App.
• •Customer support — to answer requests and fix issues you report.
• •Safety and fraud prevention — to protect accounts and infrastructure.
• •Analytics and improvement — to understand feature usage and improve stability and UX.
• •Marketing communications (optional) — only if you opt in, to send product updates or tips.

3. Sharing Your Data

We may share data with:

• •Cloud and authentication providers (e.g., AWS Cognito, hosting, storage) to run the App.
• •Analytics and diagnostics providers to measure performance and fix crashes.
• •Customer support tools used to respond to your requests.
• •Authorities if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

All service providers may process data only under our instructions and with appropriate safeguards.

4. Advertising

If the App shows ads, you can choose whether ads may be personalized. When you allow personalized ads, ad partners may use device identifiers and limited App usage signals to show more relevant ads. You can change your ads preference in the App settings or via your OS privacy controls.

5. Data Retention

We keep your data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. You can delete your account at any time. After deletion, we remove or anonymize your data unless we must keep certain records for legal reasons.

6. International Transfers

We may process data in countries different from where you live (for example where our cloud providers operate). When we transfer data internationally, we use legal protections such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest where appropriate.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided data directly to us, contact us, and we will delete it.

If you enable notifications, we may send reminders (for example feeding or sleep timers). You can disable push notifications at any time in App or device settings. If you opt into emails, you can unsubscribe via any email footer.

The App may include links or integrations with third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

12. Changes to This Notice

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. We will post the updated version in the App and update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes may be highlighted in-app.
